When the student is ready!

Good morning everyone!

Still struggling with this stupid cold, but I think there is no better way to fight it than cheering yourself up! Art can help you with that!

Some time ago I came across this proverb on the Internet :”When the student is ready the teacher will appear” (I’m not sure if this is the original translation, so sorry if it isn’t) and it got me thinking. Eventually I interpreted as “one can only help you see things when you are ready to see them”…and I believe that this is very true!

So, I got inspired by it and since I wanted to cheer me up I decided to use my Bird Crazy and Things stamp set…which is always a  good idea!

Here is my little art journal. Simple and easy but pretty enjoyable to make!Enjoy!

  • Winsor & Newton Cotman Watercolor Sketcher
  • Distress Ink Pad: black soot
