Hello my friends!
Today I would like to start with an announcement! Up to this day I am NOT affiliated with any company and I don’t have any particular reason to promote any company…but I do like to speak my opinion about things I have purchashed and used cause I find it helpful when people share their experience about products I consider buying. Also I like passing information about special offers or sales because I do realise that, like me, there are many people out there that have to spend on a budget and we all feel happy when we find a bargain, don’t we?
So…to get to the point! CREATE A SMILE provides WORLDWIDE FREE SHIPPING on all orders until April 7th 2017 !!! I personally have bought some stamps and stencils from them and I have been really happy with the products and the service. Here is a link to their shop if you wish to have a look! https://www.createasmilestamps.com/
Also CULT PENS (https://www.cultpens.com/) have a 30% OFF COPICs offer if anyone is interested.
Now, to today’s project! I wanted to have a coffee relaxing and playing with my Distress inks avoiding to cause a mess as much as possible! As a result I created this card!Hope you enjoy it!
Quick Instructions:
This card was really easy and fun to make. I first used my wave dies to cut 2 stripes of white cardstock for my sentiment. I stamped and heat embossed the word forever and then stamped the rest of the sentiment in Archival Jet Black ink. Next I used these stripes as a guide to lightly mark the area that I needed to color (this step is optional but it saves you time and ink). Then I placed the stencil on top of my card panel and secured it with masking tape. I used a mini ink blending tool to apply the Distress inks through the stencil. When I finished I carefully removed the stencil and splashed a few drops of water to add more interest to the background. I dabbed the water off with a tissue paper and then adhered the stripes with the sentiment on my panel using double sided tape. All done!
