Joyous Christmas in June!

Hello everyone!

Hope you are having a wonderful day! Here it’s warm but rainy today so I have a good excuse to stay in and do some crafty stuff before work! (as if I need an excuse!) 🙂

You will probably think that I’m going crazy…but today I would like to share with you a Christmas card!…Well the truth is…I’m a bit of a “special case” like most artistic people are…but I have a good reason why I made a Christmas card! At the start of each month I like to set some small goals for myself…and this time one of them was to start making my Christmas cards early because last year (which was the first time I made Christmas cards!) I didn’t manage to make enough for all the family and friends and I ended up having to buy some! This year I want to have loads and loads in stock instead …therefore I have to start early! So…here is my first one for this year and (if things go as planned) there should be more to come soon! Hope you like it!

(The bauble he is holding is covered with Glossy Accents which gives it a nice 3D effect but the photo didn’t really capture it!Oh well…!)

  2. This is really cool! Did you make the designs on the left yourself? I love the colors you chose for this card too…so cool and wintry! Thanks so much for sharing with us at CHNC Extra! 🙂

    1. Hiya,Marie!Nice to see you here!I made the designs on the left by using the christmas tree of the Santa’s Elves stamp set. Just masking off the edges of the column and rotating the tree. However,if you want to do something similar and you don’t have the stamp set, you can mask off the edges create some opposite triangles and then use a circular item as a guide to trace the additional lines.I really love the end result and it can be used for any type of cards really. 🙂
      Hope that helps.
      Hugs
