Congratulations with Sunflowers!

Hello everybody!

Hope you are having a lovely weekend!Personally, I don’t know why but lately I find it really hard to motivate myself to craft anything. However I was asked by a friend to make a congratulations card using sunflowers. So I pushed myself to create one and I have to admit it was a real struggle but I think the end result is quite nice. Getting back to crafting can be really challenging sometimes and rather frustrating when you are out of inspiration…but what I tell myself is “keep trying and keep going and you’ll get there in the end!”. 🙂

Many thanks!

Hello everyone!

OMG!It’s been over a week since I posted anything and even worse, during all this time I hardly created anything either! It has been a super busy and tiring week for me and I was sooo drained that I couldn’t be bothered to do anything! Not great!…But I finally convinced myself to make a little something…coloring is soo relaxing after all …and it helps your mood! I didn’t want to push myself too hard, so I went for something simple …using minimal art supplies and focusing most of all on having fun!

Having a look around for inspiration I came across Muse’s current challenge. (photo below)

I really liked the color combination! And since it is similar to the Altenew Inspiration current challenge,I thought to combine the two!Who doesn’t like beautiful flowers?!Here is my little card, hope you like it! 🙂

Supplies used:

  • Kraft Cardstock paper – white
  • Ranger Archival Ink – Jet Black
  • Prima Marketing Confections Watercolors – Tropicals (15,20,22)
  • Kuretake Gansai Tambi: No53
  • Altenew – Garden Treasure
  • MFT – All Occasion Sentiments
  • Versamark Ink
  • Wow! Primary Ebony Regular embossing powder
  • Heat tool
  • Tonic Studio – Tim Holtz Stamp platform
  • Judikins Masking Tape & Post it notes
  • Watercolor brush – Silver Black Velvet 4
