For this week’s challenge I created the following card using PolkaDoodles – Jump for Joy! This image is simply too cute! And really versatile as it can be used for birthday, celebration or general purpose cards!I decided to go with the sentiment “Happy” using the Happy Everything stampset from Your Next Stamp. The background was made using Tim Holtz -Rays layering stencil and Distress Oxides (Spiced Marmalade, Wild Honey,Fossilized Amber and Cracked Pistachio). I colored the image using Copic Markers and the sentiment is stamped in Versafine Black Onyx.

With this image I entered the following challenges. Feel free to hop around and enjoy the inspiring creations πŸ™‚

CGC DT Post – Challenge #163

Hello lovelies!

I’m back for our usual Wednesday date! It’s time for another Crafty Girls Corner! This week’s theme is: “Use Buttons“! I’m not a big embellishment type of crafter so for me it was a challenge by itself…looking all over the house for a cute spare button..lol!

Our awesome sponsor this week are:

Digi Stamps 4 Joy

Prize ~ $10 Gift Certificate

Creative Bug

Prize ~ 5 Digital images

Rick St. Dennis

Prize ~ 2 Digital images

For this challenge I used Isabella Sunny Days by Rick St. Dennis! Sooo super sweet image! As per usual I colored it using my Copic Markers and framed it using a non-branded die-cut. For the background I used a brick-wall style embossing folder and colored it with Distress Inks in red and earthy colors. For the sentiment I used Avery Elle – Simple Hugs die. And for the needs of the challenge I added a button I found in the house and attached it using thin twine – because I wanted to keep an earthy tone for the theme of my card. I don’t know why but, to me, this card feels like a sunny afternoon in a cottage house! And how cute is this little cat?! πŸ™‚

With this card I entered the following challenges. Feel free to hop along and join the fun!

Thank you all for stopping by!Wishing you a wonderful day and hope to see you again soon πŸ™‚

Kisses
