Hello my friends!
Hope you are having a nice week!Being a Wednesday,I wanted to remind you that it is time for yet another Crafty Girls Corner Challenge! This week’s theme is super simple: “Anything goes!” – I know you love it as much as I do!- and we have…not one…not two…but THREE AMAZING SPONSORS!
OUR SPONSORS THIS WEEK ARE:
For this challenge I used Happy Moments Digital Stamp set by Graciellie Designs! Her flower stamps are currently on 50% discount so if you are planning on getting some, now is the right time to do it!
I colored the image using Prima Confections Watercolors – The classics. I drew the woodgrain effect using Copics. The sentiment was stamped in Versafine Onyx Black ink using MFT- All Occasion Sentiments. Then I used Avery Elle- Simply Hugs Die set to cut out the embellishment from black cardstock and scrap paper from an older project. I honestly love the outcome! 🙂
With this card I’m going to enter the following challenges. Feel free to join the fun!
Thank you all for stopping by!Have an amazing week and see you again soon! 🙂
Hello lovely souls!
Wednesday is here and it is time for another fun challenge at the Crafty Girls Corner! This week the theme is “Add a flower” and you have a chance to win a great prize from our amazing sponsor :
$10 Gift Certificate
For this week’s challenge I used Gina Frankenstein Bride digital stamp by MoonFlower Digistamps and inspired by this amazing image I decided to create an art journal page instead of a card that I normally do.
You know, how we try our best to fit in all the roles that ourselves and others place upon us? Well, I thought that this image had a liberating message for us…saying “Look, girl, you don’t have to stress! You don’t need to fit in!Just be yourself and carry your imperfections proudly…you are perfect just the way you are!”
I colored the image using Copic markers. The background is a mixed media page that I created using white gesso, homemade stencils and dylusions paints. The stamps are Create a Smile – Botanical love and Dylusions – Doodle parts. I stamped using Versafine Onyx Black Ink. Due to the rough texture of the background the stamping is obviously imperfect but I find that it enhances the meaning of the page.
With this page I joined the following challenges:
Thank you all for stopping by!Have a beautiful week! And looking forward to seeing you again soon!
