When the student is ready!

Good morning everyone!

Still struggling with this stupid cold, but I think there is no better way to fight it than cheering yourself up! Art can help you with that!

Some time ago I came across this proverb on the Internet :”When the student is ready the teacher will appear” (I’m not sure if this is the original translation, so sorry if it isn’t) and it got me thinking. Eventually I interpreted as “one can only help you see things when you are ready to see them”…and I believe that this is very true!

So, I got inspired by it and since I wanted to cheer me up I decided to use my Bird Crazy and Things stamp set…which is always a  good idea!

Here is my little art journal. Simple and easy but pretty enjoyable to make!Enjoy!

Oops!

Hello everyone!

Today I wasn’t meant to do any crafting as I have a bad soar throat and I feel drained in general….however when I saw this little dog figure sitting on my desk I couldn’t resist giving him some love!

I don’t know why but his expression reminded me of the little one who missed his school bus the other day!So that’s the theme! Oops!

Hope you like it and it makes you smile! We all need a big smile!

AGAIN!

Hello everyone!

Here I am again with another journal page…nothing super fancy…but in my view…pretty in its simplicity! It’s about a song called “Again” (by Archive). One of my favourite.

The background is partly inspired by an old background that I found in my art journal made of mopping up inks which reminded me of waterdrops on a window (ok, with abit of imagination maybe :P). And partly by a beautiful card which you can see here in this link http://madebysannie.blogspot.co.uk/2016/09/umbrella-card.html. (Thank you for the inspiration Sandra! )
