Jolly Snowman!

Hello eveyone!

It’s been a while cause I’ve been busy with work and real life stuff…but I’m back! And I have to admit I really enjoyed making this little card! Hope you like it as much as I do!

Jolly snowman!

To make this card,I used premium thick white craft card which I embossed to get the background texture. I stamped (archival ink), colored and fussy cut the snowman which I then stuck on the background with double sided tape to create an additional layer to my card. Then I die cut the snow bank, stamped (distress ink) and heat embossed the sentiment. I used double sided tape again to add it to my panel, creating a 3rd layer. I finished off the card by adding highlights here and there using a white gel pen and several glitter pens 🙂

Below, as always, there is a list of the challenges I entered with my little card. If you have the time, I would recommend you pay these blogs a visit. There are loads of wonderful ideas to get inspired of! And some giveaways as well!

Thinking of you,Dad!

Hello everyone,

Hope you all have a nice day! For me these days are a bit emotional cause tomorrow it would have been my dad’s name day (which,in Greece where I come from, is almost as big a celebration as someone’s birthday )…but it’s the first year that I can’t send him my wishes as he is no longer around us. He is always in my heart and in my thoughts though…so I’ve decided to make this journal page for him.

Hope you like it! (unfortunatelly the camera couldn’t pick the colors very well …but they do look really nice in real!)

Armistice Day!

Hello everyone!

Here I am again! This time with a little multi-layered tag in the memory of the armed forces that have died in the line of duty!In my country we don’t have this celebration as such, we have similar ones though on the 28th October and the 25th March. I didn’t incorporate poppies or flags as I wanted it to be meaningful to me as well. But I did keep the colors kind of dark to suit the occasion.

Autumn Blessings!

Hello my friends!

I can’t believe that October is almost gone! Time flies! When I was younger I didn’t use to like autumn as much…however the older I get the more I like it…(I don’t know if not having to go to school played a role as well..hahaha! )

Really now, autumn has such beautiful colors! Looking at the trees turning red and yellow is simply breath-taking! So I got that idea…to use my new autumn stamp set and my lovely Kuretake watercolors!

Being kind of pushed for time (does anyone else get stressed about time? lol) as I have to get ready and go to work as well , I kept my page simple…

Hope you like it! (Not sure you can see the gold watercolor effect on the leaves in this photo, but in reality it’s so pretty! It’s my favorite part of the project!)

Happy Haunting!

Hello my crafty friends!

Hope you all had a great weekend! Monday again… and things are going back to the same all routine…but there is nothing better than making some time to craft a little something!

The Kuretake Gansai Tambi set was lying on my desk and I really wanted to have some watercolor fun. I’m pretty new to crafting and painting so my painting skills may not be impressive but at the end of the day this doesn’t matter…what matters is to enjoy what we do!And I certainly did enjoy creating this journal page! If you feel like your art is not what you would like it to be…DON’T! Just keep practising and it will get better!
