Crafty Girls Corner DT Post for Challenge #184

Hello lovely friends!January is almost over and as the New Year sprakle subsides we, at the Crafty Gals Corner, decided that “CAS” (Clean and Simple) was the most suitable theme for this week’s challenge! If you ask me, I’d be glad if that was the theme all year round! 🙂

Our amazing sponsors for this challenge are:

OddBall Art

Prize ~ $10 Gift Certificate

Dr. Digi’s

Prize ~ 2 Digital Images

The Paper Nest Dolls

Prize ~ 3 Digital Images

Di’s Digi Stamps

Prize ~ $6 Gift Certificate

For this week’s challenge I worked with the Creepy Cute Big Eye Zombie Girl No46 by Oddball Art . I really like that you get a few different versions of this image! What a brilliant idea and also great value for money! 🙂 I coloured my image using Copic Markers. To keep the card CAS I only created a very simple background tracing a CD and colouring the area with Distress Ink. Then I added the sentiment (Altenew – Bamboo Rose stamp set) with Versafine – Onyx Black (but it would also look great if I had used black embossing powder) .I finished off my card with small circle diecuts out of black crafting paper just for added interest. And just like that..it was done!Clean and Simple! 🙂

With this card I’m entering the following challenges:

Hello my friends! Hope you are doing great and 2019 has started well for you!I’m back with yet another creative challenge!Crafty Gals Corner:#183 Make it Sparkle! Well…after the holidays everything has a little bit of glitter left…and who doesn’t like a little bit of sparkle?!

Prize ~ $5 Gift Certificate

For this challenge I worked with the Music Conductor by Star Stampz. Such a nice image! And he is a great addition to my stamp collection as he is perfect for masculine cards as well – and personally I don’t have very many stamps depicting boys/men. To color the image I used my Copic Markers. To comply with this week’s theme I created a sprakling background using various sprays and magicals by Lindy’s Stamp Gang. I mostly used blue, black and purple colours …just because that kind of felt “cool and dreamy” to me!And that’s how I decided to use “amazing” for the sentiment which could be a fitting sentiment for several different types of cards. This sentiment is from the That is All – W plus 9 Design Studio stamp set.

With this card I’m going to enter the following challenges:
