Everything is possible!

Hello hello!

I know…Monday again! Most people don’t like Mondays. What if we see Monday differently though? What if we use it as an opportunity to do something outside our comfort zone, learn something new?! Today I decided to do exactly that!

Scrapki-Wyzwaniowo is a very nice blog that hosts very inspiring challenges. So naturally I wanted to join them, yet to do that for their current challenge I had to use a STRAW! …Now to me that was a challenge by itself!I haven’t used straws in my art before. And I don’t have any cool paper straws either. I don’t even have fancy flower embellishments to create a layout like most people would do..so I was kind of talking myself out of it. (I guess many of you know this feeling!) However, today I thought…’oh well…just try it!’.And I made this little tag!

I didn’t fall in love with it…but you know what? I’m glad I made it..coz I have learned many things in the process and because I feel nice that I didn’t give up on it. Nobody creates only masterpieces…we have to keep creating though…cause through our mistakes we learn and get better. And this is my message to you today: EVERYTHING IS POSSIBLE if you just believe and keep trying 🙂

Today I am not going to give you a list of supplies used as most of the parts are scraps and random items .However I would like to mention that the wonderful blue and green background colors are a mix of Lindy’s stamp gang and Dylusions sprays. The focal point background is made with Distress mini inks (cleaning my blending tools!). And the bird, flower and leaf are colored using Copic markers.

As always, here is a list of the challenges I entered. Feel free to visit these blogs. They are trully amazing!

  • Scrapki-Wyzwaniowo: January 2017 – Straw

  • Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge: Anything goes

Have a nice day everyone ! Hope to see you again soon! Until then take care and keep creating! 🙂

Kleri xx
