You & Me!

Hello my friends!

It’s been a while since I created a journal page! So today, being inspired by the More than Words challenge, I decided to show some love to my art journal! The challenge theme of this month is “Together and ampersand”. Thinking about it…the word TOGETHER brought to mind a long walk that I had with my partner along the river…so I decided for this project to use a photo of our walk. And I used the ampersand in my sentiment. After all, February is theΒ  “official” month of love…let’s be abit romantic! Hope you like it! πŸ™‚

For this project I used the following

  • Crawford & Black A5 sketch pad
  • The Works -Black craft card 200gsm
  • Printout of a photograph
  • Distress paint: Peeled paint, Pumice stone, Hickory smoke
  • Distress ink pads: peeled paint, black soot
  • Inktense pencils: Fern, Light Olive
  • Black acrylic paint
  • Archival Ink Jet Black
  • BoBunny: It’s written stamp set
  • Crafters Companion: Autumn blessings stamp set
  • Tim Holtz : Mini Worn Text stamp set
  • Concord & 9th: Perfectly penned stamp set
  • The Crafters Workshop: Mini Well Rounded stencil
  • Black gel pen
  • White gel pen
  • Spatula
  • Blending tool and foams
  • Glue & scissors

With my journal page I entered the following challenges. If you have the time I would suggest you visit these awesome blogs and check out what these lovely ladies have created. You will be amazed!
