Happy birthday to you!

Hello everyone!

Hope you are having a nice Friday!I’m off work today, but the weather is not great so I’ve decided to spend some time crafting! Browsing through some of my favorite blogs I used their challenges as an inspiration for my project. Looking at all the amazing projects that the DT members create always helps me get inspired! So I came up with the following idea.Hope you like it!

Quick Instructions:

To make this card, I used The Crafters Workshop-Mini Well Rounded stencil and Distress inks to create the background using the colors needed for the MFT Challenge. Then I stamped my image using Newton’s Christmas Cuddles (by Newtons Nook Designs) on a white cardstock. I colored the images with Inktense pencils and Copis. I used a black Sharpie to outline them and a black gel pen to trace the lines. Then I die cut the sentiment out of black cardstock and I also cut a stripe of black cardstock to use as a divider between my upper and lower panel. Once everything was ready I adhered all the pieces on my card and used Wink of Stella (on some of the presents and on the sentiment) and a white gel pen to add some interest. And…my card was done! 🙂

Supplies used:

  • Kraft Cardstock paper – white
  • The Works -Black craft card 200gsm
  • Archival Ink Jet Black
  • Distress Mini Ink Pads: tumbled glass, salty ocean, shaded lilac, picked respberry
